ASB
There will be an ASB meeting today in the Art Room. Please quietly bring recycle box, pencil and suggestions for activities.

New Club
ANYONE interested in learning about diversity on campus is invited to join Ms. Nunez in room 12 during lunch. Seventh and eighth graders bring your lunch and hang out as we plan our events for this year. Day of the Dead is coming soon and we need to start planning!

8th Street Bridge
Update from the City regarding the 8th Street Bridge that is currently has closed to pedestrian traffic. The repairs begin on September 24 and will last approximately 2 weeks. The work is expected to be completed Friday October 5. As we know more information we will pass it on to all of CMS.

CMS Surf Club
Anyone interested in being a part of the CMS surf club should come to Mr. Johnson’s room (32) at lunch on today. Bring your lunch and get here ASAP, as we will be starting around 12:25pm.

Tonight is Back to School Night in the MPR from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. This is for your parents only. Make sure that your parents have a copy of your class schedule.

Minimum Day
School will get out at 12:45 today. There is no 7th period. If you go to the after school program it will start today at 12:45ish.

The crevice in the ice continues to grow bigger, becoming more dangerous for the explorers to cross.

CMS Reminder
Once you come on campus in the morning, you may NOT leave for any reason. Once on campus you need to be in the eating quad or on the fields or in the library. You may not wonder the halls, you may not wait for friends in the parking lot, and you may not hang out in or near the math quad. You need to be where an adult can supervise you.

Don’t Lose Your Head
Ladies and gentlemen, now that you are feeling more comfortable here at school, please do not loose your head and forget the rules. Too many students chose to do things that go themselves suspended this week. Do the right thing and keep your cool. You can be suspended for threatening and bullying.

Football
Football at 7th & 8th grade lunch is cancelled until further notice due to unfair and mean play.

Back to School Night
