Students you may not roam around or hang out in the hallways nor the math quad before school nor at break or lunch. If you have somewhere you need to be, you may pass through these areas en route, but you may not simply hang out. It is no longer cold enough to need to do that.

Students please do not use your cell phones as a clock during school. We cannot tell if you are checking the time or reading a text. It will be taken away from you. There are clocks around school and all school phones have the correct CMS time.

Raffle tickets for that cool beach comber bike on display in the library are available at nutrition with Martha in the office. All procedeeds go to CEF who gives money to us.

7 & 8th graders, you have given up your priveledge to be in the MPR at lunch due to repeated breaking of rules and disrespect to staff. we will not longer open the MPR unless it is raining.

Dress Code: If you have any questions see page 10/11 of your agenda, it is all clearly written there. At this point in the year if you are out of dress code, like you were reminded in January, you will be asked to get into PE clothes. You will not be allowed to just add a friend's sweater. If you do not change into PE uniform, it is considered defiance for which you will be suspended. Please don't waste your time nor ours with this. If you have questions, ask Mrs. Sexsmith or any staff member.

The group's first project will be performing in the high school's musical Fiddler on the Roof in May. An organizational meeting will be held Today at 3:15pm in the band room, which is next to the MPR. After that practices will be from 3:15pm to 4:30pm on Wednesdays or Thursdays, whichever day turns out to be best for those who want to join. Students from all grades are welcome. If this sounds like something you'd like to get involved with, come to the meeting today for more details.

School Safety and Courtesy:
  • All students, if you are caught launching paper clips with rubber bands you will be suspended. It is very dangerous.
  • Ladies, you may not use curling irons/hair straighteners at lunch or nutrition in the bathrooms. Bathroom use should be limited to what you need to use it for, it is not a place to hang out and chat.
  • Gentlemen, we have trash cans in the bathroom for you to throw paper towels into. Please use them. Trash does not belong on the floor, and balls of paper towel do not throw the same way as a tennis ball. If you throw and miss, pick it up and get it in the trash. Thank you.
